To be honest, it’s certainly not a short term strategy that will give you immediate results.

It’s more of a long term strategy but it pays off.

You can also apply this strategy to your blog posts.

In this article, I’m going to share with you the 6 steps that will help you to implement an effective article marketing strategy that actually works.

 

Article Marketing Strategy: What Are The Components?

 

1. Do Your Keyword Research

First of all, you need to create your do your keyword research so that you can write your articles around your chosen keyword.

This is a very important step because it is pointless writing articles that nobody is interested in.

2. Create your content

Once you have identified your keywords, create your article around that keyword and make sure that you do your on page SEO.  Here’s a great tool that you can use for your on page SEO – SEOPressor.

SEOPressor will help you to have the right keyword density, and it will sort out your H1, H2, tags and do all the manual on page SEO that most people do not like doing.

 

3. Syndicate Your Articles

This is a very important part of your article marketing strategy. After creating your content, you’ll want to bookmark it and syndicate it across the social media networks.

Syndicating will give you backlinks which will help your article to rank higher in Google.

TribePro is a great tool for syndicating your content all over the social media networks. Tribepro is like a network and everyone on it helps each other to promote their content on their social media networks.

 

4. Spin Your Article

Google hates duplicate content, so if you implementing an article marketing strategy, it’s crucial that you spin your articles before submitting to multiple article directories.

For those of you who are new to article marketing, spinning simply means ’creating unique versions of your original article’.

If you had to spin your article manually, it will take forever and it’s very tedious. However, you can use a tool called the Best Spinner to spin your articles in minute.

5. Submit Your Articles To Article Directories

Submitting your articles to multiple article directories will give you more backlinks to your original content which will help your search engine rankings.

A good place to post your articles is EzineArticles.com. It’s a high authority site and their backlinks are good quality backlinks. You can also post to web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, HubPages etc. However, make sure that you spin your article first.

There are hundreds of other article directories that you can submit to that will give you hundreds of backlinks. Infact, if you are doing article marketing, it’s very important that you submit your articles to thousands of directories for backlinks.

6. Build More Backlinks

Backlinks are key to your article marketing strategy.

Backlinks are incoming links to your blog or website and they all count to helping your articles rank in the search engines.

The more backlinks you can build, the better for your rankings.

More backlinks = better rankings = more traffic, leads & sales

I use Automatic Backlink Creator for creating hundreds of backlinks to my content and it’s been very effective.

I also use a free tool called Social Monkee to get more backlinks to my articles.

 

Article Marketing Strategy Works!

Implementing an effective article marketing strategy isn’t easy but it works.

For you to actually start seeing some good results, you should commit to writing a minimum of 5 articles every week for at least 6 months.

The problem is that a lot of people start and then quit or become inconsistent.

So if you want to do article marketing, follow the 6 steps I have outlined above, start implementing your article marketing strategy and you will see results if you stick with it long enough.
