Did you know that creating a blog from scratch is not as difficult as it seems?
You simply need to find a great blogging platform to work with, sign up for an account or install the platform, brainstorm for some ideas of what you want to write about, and then start writing.
Even though setting up a blog is easy, choosing the right blogging platform and driving traffic to it is the key to getting people coming to your blog.
Creating a Blog from Scratch: the First Step
The first step to creating a blog from the ground up is to find a platform to use. The best platform available in my opinion is WordPress.org.
There are other platforms like blogger and blogspot etc.
They are great places to start off but the main disadvantage is that you don’t really own them because you can’t host them on your own domain.
So would want to buy a domain name and you can get some great deals from Godaddy.com.
Then you want to host it and install wordpress. I personally use Hostgator, and I’ve found their customer service outstanding.
Once you have sorted out your hosting, all you need to do is install wordpress and then you are good to go!
Obviously, you should also customize it and put in your banners, custom made header, and install all the necessary plugins. I have a list of all the cool wordpress plugins and you can read about them here.
You can also get customer banners done for you at fiverr.com.

Creating a Blog from Scratch: Create Content
Creating a blog from scratch is doesn’t have to be complicated, because you can start off with little to no budget and start creating content.
Do you have something you want to talk about? Just sit down, log into your account and start writing.
I find blogging a lot of fun, and it enables you to communicate with people through their comments.
You can talk about whatever you want, whether it’s current events, something you take a stand for, or if you have a business you may want to feature a product or service that you provide.
Make sure that your articles are about 500 and no more than 800 words.
Keep it simple, and sprinkling your keywords throughout is important in order to get traffic to your blog.
This is usually referred to as keyword density, and you want to have a keyword density of 2% to 5%.
This means that by using the keyword in the title, the first sentence, last sentence and a couple of times in the body of the article, you will be on your way to getting ranked in Google.
The only way to really get started with creating a blog from scratch is to just sit down and do it!
SEO is Important For Your Blog
SEO helps to drive traffic to your blog so it’s very important that you make sure you have you SEO done right.
SEOPressor is a great tool that will help you with on page SEO. I recommend you get it because it takes the legwork out of trying to figure it all out yourself.
So the goal is to get thousands of visitors to your blog everyday. When this happens magical, things happen, and people start knowing about you and spreading the word about you.
Once they find you, you also start to generate sales and that’s the best part!
Eventually, it will get to a point when you are making daily sales from your blog.
