melaleuca reviewsIf you are reading this, I would assume that you are looking to join Melaleuca and are looking for some information about the company before you make up your mind.

In this Melaleuca reviews, I will give you an unbiased review about the company and their products and most importantly how you can build it into a profitable business if you do decide to join.

By the way, I am not affiliated to Melaleuca in any way, so you can be rest assured that this is a 100% honest review.

Melaleuca Reviews: About The Company

Melaleuca Incorporated is a company that produces melaleuca oil, which is commonly known as tea tree oil, with beneficial medicinal properties such as anti viral, anti fungal, anti septic, anti bacterial, and also cosmetic properties.

Started in 1985, by Mr. Frank VanderSloot, he had vision of helping people with their health, and his products are now known worldwide with the benefits that it brings.

He also had another vision, in which he could market his products and help his clients financially with a marketing system that has a low cost entry and high financial gain.

Generating more than 800 million dollars in yearly sales, this company has become one of the largest companies in the United States, with their main branch in Idaho.

Melaleuca Reviews: The Negatives and Positives.

There are so many reviews on the internet, both positive and negative. Many of the negative reviews will either say that Melaleuca is a scam or that it doesn’t work.

From what I know about the company, they are CERTAINLY not a scam.

They are a legitimate company with legitimate products. They have also been around for many years so if they were a scam, the government would have found them out by now.

If you dig a little deeper into the negative reviews that you will find that the authors of these reviews are former Melaleuca distributors who did not succeed.

One of the biggest reasons why people fail is that they did not treat it as a proper business.

Because of the low start up cost, a lot of people tend not to put in the hard work and sweat into the business. Therefore they do not achieve any success.

Another reason is because a lot of people lack marketing skills. You can have the best products in the world but if you don’t have the right marketing skills, you will not make money.

These negative people  try to convince other people that the company is a scam just because of their bad experiences.

Whilst their intentions may be genuine because they are trying to protect others, because they failed does not mean that other people will fail too.

Melaleuca Reviews: How To Become A Success Story

The first thing you need to do if you want to be successful with Melaleuca is that you need to get the right tools and training.

A lot of people fail because they are putting all their energy into the wrong things that does not make money.

When you joined, you were probably told to speak to all your friends and family and do a home meeting.

Those strategies were very effective 30 years ago but nowadays they are not very effective anymore in the 21st century.

However, with the internet, you don’t need to rely on friends and family to build your business. You can use emails, videos and social media to reach thousands of people at the click of a button.

With a simple website like this one, you can capture a ton of leads  on autopilot.

It’s important that you learn these skills if you are looking to build a long term business online.

If you are wondering how you can get started using the internet, there are very good systems out there.

This is a great plug and play system that I personally use and stand by. Click here for more information.

Another Thing To Think About….

Another thing you have to bear in mind is that for you to build a substantial income in most network marketing companies, you have to have a super strong downline. Which means that if your team isn’t producing, you won’t make good money.

But what if you could still build a great monthly income and you didn’t have to rely on your team’s productivity and volumes to get paid?

That’s the model that a lot of networkers are now turning to. This is the same model that has allowed me to experience $1000 days in my business.

  2. Being in the health field I can strongly recommend Melaluca’s cleaning products. They are very effective and non-toxic.I have used the laundry soap for many years. I don’t give a big hurray for their supplements. I always check the ratings in the NutriSearch Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements (Consumer Edition for the United States and Canada). This has been put together by an unbiased source. (Meaning they guy who wrote it does make money from the supplement industry)

Of course, as you pointed out, if you don’t have a marketing plan it doesn’t matter how good your product is.

  5. Hi there…just wanted to point out that Melaleuca is NOT an mlm company and I do believe you would have quite the arguement to try and prove that it is! I have met Frank L Vandersloot and he has created a company like No OTHER and it is definately NOT MLM. Just so ya know.

    • Thanks for pointing that out Crystal.

The company may not want to be tagged as an MLM company but if you scrutinise their business model very carefully, it is actually a network marketing company or mlm.

MLM’s are not bad, it’s just a business model.

  6. Melaleuca renew intensive skin therapy lotion is the best cream for your skin. After a bath I apply just a small amount and my skin feels so smooth for hours. Love to use this product on my legs.

    • Hi Joy, it’s very important to have a marketing plan before starting any business.

A lot of people struggle because they jump into a business without a clear plan of how they are going to market.

I’m glad that you are working on your plan. Let me know how it goes.

    • Joy,
I’ve never done the marketing side, and I’m not affiliated with melalueca in anyway, but I have used the products and if you use the products, you will not be able to help yourself from “selling” them to everyone you know because these are really truly exceptionally good products and they sell themselves.

  8. I joined Melaleuca this past week, and ordered the value pak to get started. My director (whom I met through an online work-at-home ad) has been diligently helping me since we first spoke. She encouraged me to schedule a presentation with approximately 8-10 ppl which she will do via computer slides etc. I called friends and associates and invited them to Health and Wellness presentation, and all but one was very willing to come without asking many upfront questions.

Today, I decided to read as much as I could about the company, and find out more about its competitors. That’s how I got your page. Glad to read your reviews, and hope that I will be successful in this endeavor.

  9. I love the products, they work great but I don’t like the fact you have to spend so much money/points every month in order to buy the products. I don’t just that much product.

  10. I don’t understand how anyone can want to buy, let alone get involved, from a bunch of vampires. When you sign up as a preferred member, you must agree to buy a minimum purchase every month or they hit your credit card automatically with a product of their choice. In my case, it was a case of vitamins for $65.64! I didn’t not order this, nor did I want it. That bit of fine print wasn’t explained to me when I joined up. I told them I no longer wanted to be a member, they told me I have to quit in writing. Then I told them that I didn’t want the package, then they told me to send it back. When the package came, I denied it so it wasn’t opened. I received an email confirmation that they had received the package back, and that I can expect to receive a refund within 10 business days. That time came and went, with no refund. So I called then, and they said I have to ask for a refund in writing. Seriously?!?!? The representative then said he can only issue a refund minus $18.00 shipping and handling charge. So yes, they want me to pay for a shipment charge for a product I didn’t want. Now they and anyone else here, can say “tough, shoulda read the fine print” as much as you like. The fundamental problem I have with this…they hide behind the veil of “tsk, tsk, should have read the contract” knowing full well that most people don’t read it. Real slick Melaleuca! Do yourselves a favor, change your underhanded business practices and fast.

    • Hi Pam, it looks like you had a bad experience with Melaleuca.
I’m not part of the company so I cant really comment on their business practices.
      Did they eventually refund you?

    • I am a DirectorII with Melaleuca. I can honestly say that if you paid attention to the presentation it CLEARLY states that you choose a back-up order and that YOU can choose what you will get if it gets sent because you didn’t order in time for the month. It is set as a default to vitamins until YOU go in and select what you want your back up order to be. You CAN order less than 35 points a month but you will just pay the regular price not the preferred customer price. The choice is yours! I feel your review is unfair and biased based on your not doing what you were supposed to do. If you had completed your order as agreed at sign-up you would have never received a back-up order. Melaleuca is an outstanding, honest and forthright company and it does not hide anything from the customer. I am sorry you had a bad experience but it seems to be self inflicted.

    • You buy similar products at the grocery store every month that’s why they have the minimum purchase. Your not spending any new money just switching stores.

  11. Hi Ruth,

No, they did not refund me yet. They offered me a partial refund, which I refused, so I had to resort to calling my credit card company to dispute the charge. I gave them an email showing the return invoice. Hopefully I will get all my money back, but I’m not optimistic. It has been nothing but a hassle in dealing with this company. Ugh.

  12. I am not that happy with the laundry soap as it only refreshes the clothes but do not clean them. The Sei Bella shampoo+conditioner makes my scalp itchy and got dandruff, and i haven’t had dandruff in years. I like the vitamins and the supplements, and some of the bathroom cleaning products, so I guess it’s still worthy keeping my membership going.

  14. Ruth,
I see that you are promoting Empower Network. I joined them 2 months ago and blogged daily per their program. I’ve made no money. In fact I’ve gotten no leads by blogging and none of my blogs have any comments. The bottom line is, their program takes a long time and a lot of patience to make work!

    • Hey Steve, it’s not just about blogging. It’s also about what you do with your blog posts. Were you sharing and syndicating them? I blog regularly and I have been getting leads and signups but I have been doing a lot of SEO and syndication to get massive exposure to my blog posts.

It’s strange that you blogged daily and didn’t get leads at the very least….

  15. Im a member with a melalueca membership and i have to say i love their products. My girlfriend introduced me to it about a year ago. The best thing i ever did was join melaleuca. Their pain a trate cream and their renew skin lotions are the best. I had a car accident about a 2 years ago that left my neck feeling weak and suffered for quite sometime. I was under chiropractic and neurologic treatment for a while. I started using their pain a trate cream and it helped loosen the muscles on my neck. Their cleaning products are enviornmentally friendly and i even purchase candles from them. Its a product that sells itself and why pay double for toiletries when u can pay half for a hell of a product ??? I managed to sign a few people and they all have loved it.

  16. YOU STILL HAVE TO SELL, IF YOU CANT SELL YOU CANT MAKE MONEY, SO IF YOU CANT SELL LIKE MYSELF, THIS IS A LOUSY BUSINESS. I TRIED MELALEUCA AND COULD NOT EVEN GET 1 PERSON IN MY DOWNLINE, I WAS TERRIBLE AT THIS, SO I QUIT. I CANT SELL JUST A VERY BAD SALES PERSON SO I AM OUT OF THE BUSINESS. WHEN YOU GET INTO THESE BUSINESS'S YOU HAVE TO HAVE HELP, BUT EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU THEY WILL HELP YOU DONT BELIEVE IT, THEY WIILL NOT, YOUR PRETTY MUCH ON YOUR OWN.

    • Hi Chris,

I’m not part of Melaleuca but it’s important to realise that your success depends on you, not on your upline or anybody else. So I agree with you about not relying on anyone.
